Sharjah Masters 2024

7th Sharjah Masters is declared and details are published on the official website.

The tournament dates are from 14th May to 22nd May.

This year it’s with a whopping prize fund of $65000

There are 3 categories i.e.

– Masters: For players rated 2500 and above.
– Challengers: For players rated 1900-2499
– Futures: For players rated 1400-1899

Playing Venue

The playing venue of the 7th Sharjah Masters is the Sharjah Chess Club which is located on the main road which connects to Sharjah Airport.

Eligibility

The tournament is divided into 3 categories mentioned above. Players from all nations are allowed to participate.

For each federation, a maximum of twenty (20) players will be allowed to participate. An exception will (might) be given to (proven) resident players of the United Arab Emirates.

Hotel Accommodation

The official Hotel is Centro Rotana Sharjah.

Official and invited players must stay at the official hotel. Other players can choose any accommodation.
