Shantanu Bhambure, an International Master from India, has achieved a peak Fide Rating of 2405.

He has competed in international tournaments in Mumbai, Delhi, Bhubaneshwar, Kolkata, Russia, UAE, Vietnam, Spain, Armenia, Netherlands, Italy, Malaysia, Slovakia, Czech, Poland, Azerbaijan, Romania, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia.

Shantanu was the Maharashtra State Champion (Open Category) in 2017, a Silver Medalist in the National University Team Event, and a Bronze Medalist in the National School Event. In 2019, he achieved 3rd place in the Zadar International Open Chess Tournament.

Shantanu is teaching chess for the last three years and has taught hundreds of chess players from all over the world.
